PRP Overview

What is PRP?

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a treatment that uses a small sample of your own blood, processed to concentrate the platelets, to support healing and skin or tissue regeneration. At Swift Day Clinic, we offer three key PRP treatments:  PRP Face for skin rejuvenation, glow, and fine lines.  PRP Knee to support joint comfort and mobility.  PRP Hair to help improve hair density and scalp health.

Who it’s for
  • Want to improve skin texture, tone, or fine lines.
  • Have early signs of skin aging or mild laxity.
  • Experience joint discomfort (e.g. knee pain) and want a regenerative option.
  • Notice hair thinning or early hair loss.
  • Prefer a treatment that uses your own blood rather than synthetic fillers.
  • Patients who desire natural-looking rejuvenation without surgery.
  • Are seeking minimally invasive procedures with little downtime.
What results to expect

PRP delivers gradual, natural-looking rejuvenation by harnessing the body's own healing and regenerative capabilities. Patients may experience healthier, more radiant skin with improved texture, firmness, and elasticity, as well as enhanced scalp health and stronger, fuller-looking hair. As collagen production and tissue regeneration continue over time, results progressively improve, providing subtle yet noticeable enhancements tailored to each individual's concerns.

When to book

We recommend booking a consultation at least two weeks before any major event. Our physicians are available to guide you through a personalized treatment plan scheduled at your convenience.

To prepare for your clinical PRP session, stay well-hydrated and rested. Please disclose all medications and medical history to your physician. PRP Recovery & Post-Care Guide

Essential Care
  • Keep the treated area clean and avoid touching the injection sites for the first 24 hours. You may apply a gentle cold compress briefly if minor swelling occurs, but avoid direct pressure on the treated zones.
What to Avoid
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and direct sun exposure for 48 hours. Refrain from using harsh skincare actives (retinoids, vitamin C) for 3 days and avoid anti-inflammatory medications (Ibuprofen) which can interfere with the PRP healing process.
Recovery Phases
  • Day 1: Expect mild pinpoint redness and potential light swelling. Days 2–5: Any initial bruising starts to fade, and skin begins its natural regeneration. Weeks 4–12: Gradual improvement in texture and brightness as collagen production increases.
